We’re all here on earth for a purpose and we all have specifics paths to travel to achieve that purpose. There are many different paths that we will be on in different times and stages of our life. And these paths will be different for each and every person. But how do you know if you’re on the right path to achieving your particular purpose in life?
Here are a few signs to look for along your path that will let you know if you’re traveling in the right direction. And some that let you know it’s time to make a course correction.
- Road Bumps
You’ll definitely be hitting some of these. Moments that may shake you up a bit but not too much. Just take notice, pause and then keep going. You’ll be able to get through them without too much difficulty. They may show up as temporary setbacks in a business, or with a relationship, perhaps a financial hiccup or lack of motivation or fear to move forward. Some may hit you a little harder, like the loss of a loved one, or job, possibly an illness or other health issue. But you’ll be able to continue on because you understand that these are all part of the journey.
- Dear Crossing
These are some of the best signs you’ll experience that will let you know you’re traveling the right direction. Although we all travel different paths, our paths will often cross paths with others and may even merge for a bit on some particular point. Crossing paths with others who are also traveling their own path correctly is an incredible experience. You’ll know you’ve crossed paths with someone like this when you feel a real connection and able to help and bless each other in ways that are truly remarkable. You have a lot in common and enjoy being together but you’re also able to allow each other their own time and ways and encourage them to travel and discover on their own and they do the same for you.
- Signal Ahead
When you come to one of these, you’ll be able to adjust accordingly without getting upset or angry at the outcome. It’s just letting you know that you need to prepare to slow down and possibly even stop for a while. It could be that you’re traveling too fast and not taking time to notice all the little things that are along your path. These serve as moments to help you recognize and pause to express gratitude and love more often, to take some time off and spend quality time with a child or significant other or even just to take time to care for yourself. Then when things are all clear, you’re good to go!
You’re able to practice great patience and love when this sign shows up. You’re not in a hurry. You’re not angry or annoyed when it comes up. You’re calm and willing to serve all those that pass by and help them along on their journey. Be it a family member, a friend, neighbor or even a complete stranger. You’re always ready and wanting to help however you can.
- U Turn
When these come up you try to avoid turning back as much as possible but you’re also not afraid to turn back for a time if needed especially if doing so will in the end get you back on path quicker than if you didn’t. This shows up in the fact that you’re able to learn from your past experiences and know that they serve a purpose in getting you where you want to be. You’re able to learn what you need to and then let go of the past and get back to moving forward. You’re able to freely forgive others and yourself.
As you begin to recognize the signs on your life path that keep you moving in a positive and purposeful direction you’ll feel confident in your journey.
You’ll also be able to clearly recognize when you’ve gotten off course a bit and need to redirect things if you see signs like: Do Not Enter or Wrong Way. When you come to one of these, you simply won’t be able to continue traveling in the direction you were without hitting some major troubles that you can’t get through. But when you do come across one of these signs on your path, as you most likely will at some point in your journey, we all do, don’t panic, don’t give up thinking all is lost, that won’t help at all, just be calm and trust that there is always a way to get off that path and to get back on track to fulfilling your purpose.
